Save the Date: Writing Down Death with Mike Farrell

CAADP announces a February 15, 2008 event called "Writing Down Death." It will feature various authors speaking against the death penalty.

The keynote speaker will be Mike Farrell, who played B. J. Hunnicutt in the TV show M*A*S*H. He also wrote a memoir entitled Just Call Me Mike: A Journey to Actor and Activist, published by Rdv Books earlier this year. Mike has been a passionate activist, including as death-penalty abolitionist.

The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. The event takes place at the First Christian Church in Tucson (Euclid and Speedway Boulevard). It costs $50 per person (or $35 for CAADP members). Or you can get a table of eight people for $360. The event includes a catered dinner.
