CAADP is a coalition of both individuals and organizations opposed to the death penalty. On this page, you can get information about some of our members. Also, please consider joining, whether as an individual or an organization, to help CAADP continue its abolitionist activities.
We also have an e-mail list for all interested individuals, whether members or not, that you can join by visiting our e-mail and mail lists and volunteer page. (Although we encourage members to sign up for the list to keep abreast of death penalty-related events and news, some members may not want to receive e-mail messages. Therefore, we do not automatically sign up members for the e-mail list.)
To become a member of CAADP, we ask that you make a voluntary donation, if possible, as described in the Individual Members and Organizational Members sections below.
The best way to make a donation, apart from membership, is to donate money directly. You can send donations to the address below. However, other methods of donating exist, as well. If you donate through a United Way campaign, please keep in mind that the Tucson-area United Way deducts an administrative cost from each donation. The Phoenix-area United Way does not deduct any administrative fees from donations made through employee deductions.
Please send check or money order donations to the following address. Checks should be addressed to CAADP.
Post Office Box 77312
Tucson, Arizona 85703
In addition to monetary donations, CAADP welcomes donations of time and skills. Please see the lists sign-up page to volunteer, or contact info@azabolitionist.org.
To become a member of CAADP, we request a voluntary donation of $35 each year. Individuals with limited finances are free to contribute any amount; conversely, we also welcome higher donations from individuals with larger incomes. We send a printed copy of our periodic newsletter, In Solidarity, to all members.
Our organizational membership consists of a variety of groups that are opposed to the death penalty. There is a great diversity among the organizations, which include churches, poltical entitites, shelters, law groups, and so forth. These organizations contribute donations and other resources, according to their abilities, to support to abolitionist cause.
CAADP is an organization focused solely on death penalty abolition. CAADP does not restrict membership according to organizations' approach to other political topics.
To become an organizational member of CAADP, we request a voluntary donation of $100 each year. We make exceptions for organizations with financial limitations, just as we ask that larger groups with greater resources consider donating more. Please send a money order or check (made out to CAADP) to the address above.
