Arizona Death Penalty

CAADP Committees

CAADP has several standing committees to promote the abolitionist cause. Below is a list of these committees, along with a link to each committee's page, where you can get additional information about its members and activities and joining the committee.

Steering Committee

The CAADP steering committee oversees the operations, policies, and plans for the Coalition. Its members meet regularly to form strategies for abolishing the death penalty. It also forms committees to conduct grassroots activism and meet the specific needs of the death penalty movement in Arizona. The steering committee directs the Coalition's operations and makes sure that it meets its fiscal obligations to its membership and the Internal Revenue Service.

For more information, please see the Steering Committee page.

Advisory Board

CAADP has an Advisory Board that consists of Arizona leaders. These individuals lend their expertise and, in some cases, celebrity to aid the cause of abolition.

For more information, please see the Advisory Board page.

Tucson Education Committee

The Tucson Education Committee is one of CAADP's most active committees. It engages in a variety of activities to raise awareness about the death penalty and raise funds for anti-death penalty efforts.

For more information, please see the Tucson Education Committee page.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for the CAADP Web site, e-mail list, and newsletter. Programmers, Web site designers, graphic artists, editors, writers, and all other individuals interested in volunteering are welcome.
